Weekly Meetings resume in October
Monday Nights

– 7:30 PM

We believe that both boys and girls need programs that are designed for their unique and valuable strengths and traits.

A ‘one-size-fits-all’ gender-blurring cultural trend that favors ‘sit still, be quiet, pay attention’ environments is hurting boys. Their rough-and-tumble nature doesn’t fit there. The result is that boys are falling behind academically and being labeled with social and learning disorders for behaving normally.

Trail Life USA understands the needs of boys and strives to provide an environment where they can fully be boys so they can develop into winning and confident men.

We are excited to enter into of 2nd year of Trail Life, focused on the Woodlands Trail.
(Woodland Trails) is for ages 5-10.
These boys will gain knowledge about outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship,
and faith through fun activities, awards, and skill instruction.

Trail Life USA Oath

On my honor, I will do my best to serve God and my country, to respect authority, to be a good steward of creation, and to treat others as I want to be treated.

Statement of Values

PURITY >> God calls us to lives of holiness, being pure of heart, mind, word and deed. We are to reserve sexual activity for the sanctity of marriage, a lifelong commitment before God between a man and a woman.

SERVICE >> God calls us to become responsible members of our community and the world through selfless acts that contribute to the welfare of others.

STEWARDSHIP >> God calls us to use our God-given time, talents, and money wisely.

INTEGRITY >> God calls us to live moral lives that demonstrate an inward motivation to do what is biblically right regardless of the cost.

In Trail Life USA, troops are organized according to biblical principles in Proverbs 24:3-4, reflecting developmentally appropriate groupings of boys (K-U-W-L)Woodlands trail (Knowledge), Navigators (Understanding), Adventurers (Wisdom), and Guidon (Life).

The Woodlands Trail Program is designed for boys of elementary-school age, comprising two-year programs for three age groups. To ensure that activities are age-appropriate and progressively challenging, for the Woodlands Trail Program, boys are grouped together with boys of their own age:

• Fox (Kindergarten-1st grade and 5 years old by October 31)
Hawk (2nd-3rd grade and 7 years old by October 31)
• Mountain Lion (4th-5th grade and 9 years old by October 31)

During each two-year program, the Trailmen (boys) participate in activities from among seven areas (known as branches), including:

 Heritage Branch
An exploration of American Heritage, Christian Heritage, and a boy’s own family heritage. Emphasis is placed on upholding the finest traditions of the heritage we obtain from our forefathers.
• Hobbies Branch
An exploration of various indoor and outdoor hobbies that demand varying levels of knowledge, skill, or aptitude.
• Life Skills Branch
Teaching life lessons ranging from the practical and mundane to higher-level interpersonal skill sets.
• Outdoor Skills Branch
Gaining basic understanding of woodcraft, hiking, exploration, and camping skills.
• Science and Technology Branch
An exploration of physical and natural science concerning our created world.
• Sports and Fitness Branch
Having fun in the outdoors with sports and other activities.
• Values Branch
Instilling biblically based values in the boys. The central focus of this branch is teaching of the Christian faith.
