As we approach Thanksgiving, we’re reminded of the abundant blessings God has poured out on us and the powerful opportunity we have to share His love. This Thanksgiving Day, First Baptist Church will host a community meal in partnership with the Community Resource Center and Sharing the Harvest to serve those around us who may need a place to gather, enjoy a meal, and feel the warmth of God’s love through our hospitality.
As Jesus reminded us, “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me” (Matthew 25:40, NASB). This day is an opportunity to live out that calling, to be His hands and feet, and to remind those in our community that they are seen, loved, and valued.
